Practice Nurse (Casual, Rockhampton)

About the role

CQ Medicentre, a multi-site practice on the Northside and Southside of Rockhampton in Central Queensland, is looking for an EN or RN (ideally with General Practice experience, though not essential) to join its Nursing Team in a casual role. A permanent part-time position may be offered depending on the candidate's preference.

Key responsibilities

• Support a variety of clinical areas, including vaccinations, wound care, triage, minor procedures and chronic disease management.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve best-practice patient outcomes.
• Prioritise person-centred care for patients, families and carers through effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.

Required profile

• Registered nurse (EN or RN).
• AHPRA registration without restrictions.
• Ideally General Practice experience, though not essential.
