Power BI Developer

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Power BI Developer to join a growing Analytics team within a purpose‑driven organisation undergoing a major data transformation. This newly created, greenfield role will help shape a modern cloud‑based analytics environment, delivering trusted reporting and laying the groundwork for future Machine Learning and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Model and transform data using SQL on a modern cloud data platform.
• Create governed Gold and Semantic Layers to support trusted reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and define meaningful metrics.
• Establish reporting standards, data dictionaries and governed metrics.
• Improve overall data maturity and reporting capability across the organisation.
• Contribute to the evolution of a modern enterprise analytics platform.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of commercial experience in BI, analytics or reporting.
• Strong Power BI development expertise.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Confidence working with senior business stakeholders.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
