Portfolio People & Culture Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Manager to support our Sydney CBD hotels and shared services hub. This senior leadership position will drive culture, capability, compliance and workforce experience across multiple properties within the Accor Salter Brothers portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and support hotel leaders on performance, engagement, employee relations and workforce planning.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding and talent development aligned with Accor’s capability frameworks.
• Support change management, organisational design and portfolio‑wide HR initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, awards, policies and governance requirements.
• Champion culture, wellbeing, diversity and engagement across properties.
• Partner with payroll, shared services and operational leaders to ensure smooth HR processes.
• Analyse workforce trends and provide insights for operational decision‑making.
• Manage learning & development for the portfolio, including brand and service training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a multi‑site HR role, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and award interpretation.
• Demonstrated capability in employee relations, coaching leaders and supporting organisational change.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and influencing skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused and able to work autonomously.
• Tertiary education in Human Resources Management or a related field.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of Work, Health & Safety, incident management and claims management.
• Ability to analyse workforce data and generate actionable insights.
