About the role
The Reece Group, a supplier of plumbing and bathroom products, is offering a school-based traineeship in Inverell through its partnership with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd. Year 10 students work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations while working in a Reece branch. The position is based at the Plumbing Inverell branch.
Key responsibilities
- Follow Reece's values, policies and procedures
- Provide customer service and communicate with customers and staff
- Complete all requirements of the certificate, including workbooks, on-the-job training and assessments
- Process sales and manage stock
- Answer the phone to take messages and orders
- Build product knowledge and follow up with customers
- Help keep the branch at a high standard
Required profile
- Year 10 student
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to follow instructions
- Enthusiasm, a great attitude and willingness to try new things
- Team player who keeps a neat and tidy workplace
- Well presented
- Saturday availability; about 1.5 days per week, with extra hours during school holidays recommended
