About the role

Reece, partnered with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd, is offering a school-based traineeship for Year 10 students at its Plumbing East Wagga Wagga store. The traineeship leads to a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations and combines work in the store with certificate requirements such as workbooks, on-the-job training and assessments.

Key responsibilities

Follow Reece's values, policies and procedures
Provide customer service and answer the phone to take messages and orders
Complete all requirements of the certificate, including workbooks, on-the-job training and assessments
Process sales and manage stock
Build product knowledge and follow up with customers
Contribute to keeping the branch at a high standard

Required profile

Year 10 student with good written and verbal communication
Ability to follow instructions, enthusiasm and a great attitude
Willingness to try new things and to work as part of a team
Willingness to keep a neat and tidy workplace and to present well
Saturday availability; about 1.5 days per week, with extra hours during school holidays recommended
