Plumbing Estimator

About the role

Level Plumbing Tamworth, a company specialising in residential, commercial and industrial plumbing services, is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator. The estimator prepares accurate cost and resource estimates for plumbing projects, working on site within the Level Plumbing Member department.

Key responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications and other documents to understand the scope of work and project requirements
• Conduct material take-offs and estimate the quantities of plumbing materials needed
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services
• Analyse and evaluate quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials and subcontractor costs
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to support smooth project delivery
• Track project costs and provide regular reports to management

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Estimator
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and materials
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools
• Material take-offs and cost estimation
