Plant Operator - Quarries (Afternoon)

About the role

Join Boral’s dynamic Quarries team at the Petrie Quarry in Brisbane, working the afternoon shift (9:30 am‑6:30 pm, Monday‑Friday). You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Dump Haul truck, Front‑end loader and other mobile plant safely.
• Run the crushing plant and perform basic maintenance and housekeeping.
• Participate in problem‑solving, continuous improvement and safety initiatives such as pre‑starts and toolbox talks.

Required profile

• Experience in mobile plant operation (Front‑end loader desirable but not essential).
• HR truck licence advantageous but not required.
• Quarry experience highly regarded, but not essential.
• Self‑motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
