Plant Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our Chlor‑Alkali plant in Kwinana, Western Australia. This permanent, full‑time position works on a rotating roster of four days on (two day shifts followed by two night shifts) and four days off, ensuring continuous plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control all aspects of plant operation under the shift supervisor’s direction.
• Perform duties as a spare operator when required.
• Carry out routine laboratory analyses.
• Complete training courses as defined in the training matrix.
• Provide relief for other operators and become competent in all plant functions.
• Assist maintenance staff as needed.
• Report all SIS and BMS safety system alarms and trips in the Incident Reporting Register.
• Oversee efficient and safe tanker loading and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and organised individual.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team.
• Capable of responding promptly to process issues.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks on the plant floor.
• Ability to recognise hazards and follow safety procedures.
