About the role

The Planning & Stock Control Coordinator will develop weekly and monthly supply plans for Symrise's pet‑food business in Australia. The role ensures production capacity matches customer demand while maintaining safety stock and on‑time order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop realistic weekly and monthly supply plans that align production output and input requirements with customer demand, considering capacity and current inventory.
  • Continuously review and adjust supply plans in response to conflicts, priority shifts, supply disruptions, logistics constraints and evolving customer requirements.
  • Confirm stock availability and committed dispatch dates for domestic and export orders, providing timely information to the Sales Department.
  • Maintain safety stock at minimum target levels to guarantee uninterrupted order fulfilment for up to two weeks during production breakdowns.
  • Coordinate finished‑goods logistics in line with the weekly production plan and raise/manage purchase orders accurately within the ERP system.
  • Place weekly procurement orders for poultry raw materials, oversee receipt, verification and invoice approval of incoming goods via the ERP system.
  • Create and manage production work orders, assign batch numbers, and oversee transfer work orders, ensuring correct packaging and allocation to customers.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in supply planning, inventory control or related logistics functions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve supply conflicts and adapt plans to changing conditions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams, including sales, production and logistics.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records of stock levels, safety stock and work orders.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with ERP systems for purchase orders, work orders and inventory management.
