Pharmacy Technician - Hospital Pharmacy, Perth

About the role

Slade Pharmacy, part of Icon Oncology Group, is recruiting an experienced Pharmacy Technician for its Perth pharmacy, located within St. John of God Midland Private Hospital. The position is permanent and full-time, and offers the chance to help build a new pharmacy service from the ground up. Experience in hospital pharmacy is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and supply medication for hospital patients and outpatients
• Deliver medications to hospital wards and assist with medication rounds
• Help manage ward imprest and stock management
• Support patients, hospital staff and associated employees
• Handle pharmacy claims and general administration duties

Required profile

• At least 1 year of dispensing experience in an Australian community or hospital pharmacy
• Australian working rights
• Team player with strong attention to detail
• Desirable: previous hospital pharmacy experience

Required skills

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Desirable: Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy or equivalent
