About the role

Join Blooms the Chemist in Colac as a full‑time pharmacist, working within an award‑winning, community‑focused team. You will dispense medications, provide professional health advice and support a range of pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications using the Dispense Works system.
• Provide professional health care advice and high‑quality customer service.
• Administer vaccinations (flu, COVID‑19, whooping cough, shingles) and health checks (blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, iron).
• Manage opioid replacement therapy for a small client program.
• Support dose administration aids for community and disability home customers.
• Participate in VIC Pharmacy pilot programs.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration (newly registered pharmacists welcome).
• First aid certification and a current National Police Check.
• Respectful, reliable, and passionate about delivering professional pharmaceutical services.
• Strong commitment to customer service, professional development and team collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Dispense Works pharmacy software.
• Ability to administer vaccinations and health checks.
• Knowledge of opioid replacement therapy protocols.
