Ramsay Pharmacy at Cairns Medical Centre is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to lead its pharmacy team. This senior position combines professional development, work‑life balance, and direct patient care within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, medication supply and professional services.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and support to all pharmacy staff.
• Coordinate onboarding, training and continuous development for new and existing team members.
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and medication safety standards.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture and maintain high service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
• Current AHPRA Pharmacist registration.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capability.
• High level of computer literacy and familiarity with dispensing software.
• Previous community pharmacy experience is valued but not mandatory.
• Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
• National Police Check completed within the last 12 months.
