Pharmacist – Custom Compounding

About the role

Natural Script is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join its on-site team in Brookvale, NSW. The role focuses on preparing and dispensing custom-made compounds for natural health practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, compound and dispense practitioner-formulated supplements, liquid herbal formulations and bespoke nutritional compounds.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness before dispensing.
• Maintain and control inventory of raw materials, finished products and packaging.
• Implement and monitor quality-control procedures throughout the compounding process.
• Ensure all activities comply with AHPRA regulations and other relevant legislation.
• Provide pharmaceutical advice and support to naturopaths, integrative doctors, nutritionists and other natural health practitioners.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist (mandatory).
• Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy practice with the ability to learn or already possess compounding skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with a diverse range of natural health professionals.
• Problem-solving and organisational capabilities for inventory management and operational efficiency.
• Experience or interest in natural or integrative medicine is highly desirable.
