About the role

A full-time pharmacist is sought to join a pharmacy in the Cairns region of Far North Queensland. The pharmacy group takes a holistic approach to health care, covering both prescription and natural medicines, and offers a motivated, friendly team. The position is open to both sole and second pharmacists.

Key responsibilities

  • Dispense and check prescriptions
  • Provide counselling on prescription and OTC medicines
  • Perform 7CPA duties
  • Stock ordering

Required profile

  • Current unrestricted Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
  • Excellent customer service skills and good attention to detail
  • Friendly, reliable and able to work well in a team

Required skills

  • Good computer skills

What we offer

  • Attractive hourly rate of $50 plus per hour, depending on experience
  • Full-time hours, including possible weekend and evening shifts; the pharmacy trades 8am-8pm, 7 days a week
  • Relocation and rental assistance for the right candidate
