Personal Care Worker (PCA) - Casual

About the role

Estia Health Oakleigh East, a friendly and welcoming aged care residence in a quiet residential street near public transport and local shops, is looking for experienced Personal Care Workers/Attendants (PCAs) to join its team on a casual basis. The home offers multilingual staff and a multicultural programme of activities for residents from many backgrounds.

Key responsibilities

• Lend a hand with daily life so residents feel heard, comfortable and well fed
• Support residents with challenging needs alongside the team
• Help keep residents' bodies and minds active
• Monitor residents' health and help with treatments
• Act as a friend to residents and respect everyone's privacy and dignity

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
