Personal Care Worker – Aged Care

About the role

Lutheran Homes Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join its aged‑care team. In this role you will provide hands‑on personal care and support to residents, helping them maintain dignity, independence and overall wellbeing within a supportive facility environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living while monitoring their health and reporting any changes to nursing staff.
• Identify and manage risks associated with personal care tasks.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and provide support to colleagues as needed.
• Participate in a workplace culture focused on growth, learning and high‑quality resident care.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) – essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role – preferred.
• Kind, caring and respectful attitude.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment medical assessment and hold a current NDIS Worker Clearance.
• Up‑to‑date with all recommended vaccinations in line with aged‑care health guidelines.
