As the People & Culture Manager at Hyde Perth, you will be the heartbeat of our vibrant hotel team. This hands‑on, operational role blends HR expertise with the brand’s festival‑driven culture, ensuring every employee feels empowered and aligned with our unique identity.

Key responsibilities

• Champion Hyde’s people‑first culture, embedding values throughout the property.
• Lead the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and career progression.
• Act as a culture architect, weaving the brand’s identity into every team interaction.
• Build and maintain a diverse, inclusive, high‑performing team that reflects Hyde’s creative spirit.
• Provide strategic guidance on labour planning, workforce strategy, and people operations to senior leadership.
• Partner with department heads to keep teams engaged, motivated, and aligned with business goals.
• Design and deliver learning and development programs that foster growth and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Manage performance processes with empathy, transparency, and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all local employment laws and regulations.
• Oversee wellbeing, recognition, and reward initiatives that genuinely support staff.
• Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts, from planning activations to driving awareness.
