People & Culture Advisor

About the role

The People & Culture Advisor will support leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle at Priestley’s Gourmet Delights. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will provide hands‑on HR advice, manage talent initiatives and help build a valued, inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end support from recruitment through off‑boarding.
• Prepare and issue employment correspondence such as letters, probation outcomes and contract variations.
• Advise employees and leaders on awards, enterprise agreements, workplace relations, grievances, policies and procedures.
• Coach leaders on people challenges, engagement, wellbeing and performance.
• Support performance management, probation reviews, absence management, workplace investigations and escalations.
• Collaborate with the wider P&C team to deliver initiatives that enhance culture, engagement and retention.
• Maintain confidentiality and act with discretion at all times.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a generalist or employee‑relations HR role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian awards, enterprise agreements and workplace relations legislation.
• Ability to coach and influence leaders on people matters.
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of discretion.
