People & Culture Advisor

About the role

The People & Culture Advisor will be based onsite at Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT, supporting a diverse workforce across the airport, hotels, campground, retail and employee accommodation. This generalist HR position offers a unique blend of strategic advice, employee relations and community‑focused initiatives in one of Australia’s most iconic locations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with People Managers to set clear expectations, develop processes and build confidence in team management.
• Provide strategic HR advice on employment legislation, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and workplace investigations.
• Deliver small‑group training sessions on HR topics such as career development, cross‑skilling and compliance.
• Support the growth of the local Indigenous workforce and contribute to the company’s “closing the gap” objectives.
• Assist with ad‑hoc recruitment, career pathing and employee development initiatives.

Required profile

• Mid‑level HR professional with solid generalist experience in a small‑to‑medium business or similar environment.
• Strong communicator, approachable and highly organized.
• Familiarity with Australian employment obligations and EBA interpretation.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and delivering HR training.
• Passion for supporting Indigenous employment and community development.
