About the role

Step into a true HR advisory role with autonomy and variety at HenderCare, a purpose‑driven organisation delivering aged care, disability and children’s services. Reporting to the Manager – People & Culture, you will provide trusted, practical HR advice across the employee lifecycle in a multi‑site, award‑governed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advice on performance, conduct and award interpretation (SCHADS) to support decision‑making.
• Manage employee relations matters, ensuring fair, timely and compliant outcomes.
• Support investigations, maintain accurate documentation and ensure high‑quality records.
• Assist with employee lifecycle changes, off‑boarding and HRIS data integrity.
• Coach leaders in performance management, early intervention and development planning.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Modern Awards and organisational policies.
• Contribute to culture, engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–4 years’ experience in a generalist HR or advisory role, preferably multi‑site.
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation, Modern Awards and HR best practice.
• Experience handling employee relations matters and investigations.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Resilience, strong judgement and attention to detail.
