Part‑Time Veterinary Nurse

About the role

Greencross Vets Narellan & Campbelltown are seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse for a flexible part‑time role across two modern clinics in South West Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments, surgeries and emergency cases.
• Prepare surgical theatres, monitor anaesthesia and support post‑operative recovery.
• Administer medications, collect samples and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide nursing care for hospitalised patients and maintain accurate patient records.
• Support reception duties and ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) with clinical experience.
• Strong animal handling, communication and customer service abilities.
• Organised, reliable, professional and team‑focused attitude.
• Passion for patient care, client experience and a positive clinic culture.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital imaging and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience using ultrasound, including cardiac capabilities.
• Competence in surgical preparation and theatre assistance.
