The position reports to the Deputy Director.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Centre's partnerships and business development plan, aligned with First Nations leadership and agreed priorities.

- Design and deliver consulting-style advisory, facilitation and project services, including scoping opportunities, coordinating expertise, preparing proposals and supporting delivery.
- Build an industry and philanthropic partnership pipeline, develop cases for support and coordinate stewardship, due diligence and funding approaches with ANU Advancement.
- Oversee and implement the Centre's communications and media strategy, supported by the Senior Impact and Communications Officer.
- Coordinate seminars, roundtables, dialogues and other events that share research outcomes and build support for the Centre's policy agenda.
- Manage agreements, plans, budgets, procurement, risk, records, reporting and evaluation, and advise on progress and emerging issues.
- Represent the Centre in relevant forums and contribute to Centre-wide planning, governance and reporting, while protecting ICIP and supporting Indigenous Data Sovereignty.
Required profile
- Right to live and work in Australia; a background check is required and an offer is conditional on satisfactory results.
- Full-time, continuing position (contingent funded, with funding expected to end in June 2030).
Applications are made through the ANU external recruitment portal and must include a statement addressing the selection criteria and a current CV with at least three referees. Applications that do not address the selection criteria may not be considered.
