About the role
Rockhampton Veterinary Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly team. The nurse supports the veterinarians and helps deliver high-quality care, with a focus on the well-being of pets and their owners.
Key responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with consultations and procedures
- Monitor patients during anaesthesia and recovery
- Administer medications and provide patient care
- Prepare surgical areas and assist with surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Communicate with clients and provide good customer service
- Carry out general clinic care and cleaning duties
Required profile
- Caring, compassionate and dedicated to animal welfare
- Reliable, enthusiastic and confident working in a close-knit team
- Experience in a veterinary nursing environment; Certificate II in Animal Studies desirable
