Part-Time Veterinarian

About the role

MyVet Springfield Lakes, a well-established small animal clinic in a family-oriented community, is growing and is looking for a part-time veterinarian. The clinic is close-knit, with two veterinarians and five experienced nurses, and offers a mix of consulting and surgery within a collaborative, community-focused setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a mix of consulting and routine surgery, working up cases thoroughly
• Build strong client relationships
• Work alone on weekends

Required profile

• BVSc (or equivalent) with current registration in Queensland
• 3+ years' experience in small animal practice
• Comfortable with sole charge on weekends
• Client-focused approach and strong communication skills

Required skills

• Confident in consultations and routine surgery
• Team player who contributes positively to clinic culture
