Part-Time School Cleaner

About the role

Downer's Health and Education team is looking for a part-time school cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleaning across its school facilities. The cleaner supports a clean and hygienic environment that helps learning activities run smoothly. The position reports to the Client Service Manager. The current vacancy is at Kellyville Ridge Public School, Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6:45pm.

Key responsibilities

• Clean offices and common areas
• Clean bathrooms and toilets
• Clean classrooms
• Remove garbage and clean outdoor areas

Required profile

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial environment
• Able to perform consistently to a high standard
• Strong communicator who works collaboratively
• Own transportation and a driver's licence; may need to travel to other schools in the area
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a valid National Police History Certificate, or the ability to obtain them
