Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant

About the role

TerryWhite Chemmart Aitkenvale, a busy community pharmacy in Townsville, is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join its team. The role works up to 28 hours per week across a varied roster, including Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday 8:00am-5:00pm or 5:00pm-10:00pm, Wednesday 3:00pm-10:00pm or 5:00pm-10:00pm, and Friday 3:00pm-10:00pm. Casual Pharmacy Assistants are also welcomed to help during the busy festive season.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support retail sales.
• Maintain a high standard of merchandising and store presentation.
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, including housekeeping and stock awareness.
• Use pharmacy systems and computers confidently.
• Manage multiple tasks in a busy and varied environment.
• Communicate clearly with customers and filter enquiries appropriately.

Required profile

• An S2S3 qualification.
• Right to live and work in Australia; successful applicants are contacted by phone or email.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills, strong attention to detail and a positive, team-focused mindset.
• Previous community pharmacy experience is advantageous.
