Part-Time Guest Service Agent – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time Guest Service Agent to join the front-desk team at Mercure Perth on Hay. In this role you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth stay from check-in to check-out.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and visitors, manage check-in and check-out procedures.
• Handle telephone enquiries and respond in line with brand standards.
• Process reservations, maintain guest accounts and sell hotel facilities.
• Reconcile cash floats at the end of each shift.
• Promote the Accor Live Limitless loyalty programme to eligible guests.

Required profile

• Previous customer-service experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day roster including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Opera (property management system) or similar hotel software.
