Part-Time Dentist - Private Practice, Mandurah

About the role

An established 3-chair private dental practice in Mandurah, Western Australia, is adding a part-time Dentist to its team. The clinic is busy and has strong patient overflow, so the new Dentist steps into full books rather than building a patient base from scratch. The role suits an experienced Dentist seeking a busy part-time position or a locally based graduate looking for mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a mix of general dentistry and more complex treatment, with the Hygienist supporting routine preventive care
• Clinical work may include examinations, treatment planning, composite restorations, crowns, bridges, dentures, extractions, wisdom teeth extractions, root canal therapy, gum disease treatment, emergency dentistry and preventive care
• Develop confidence in treatment planning, surgical dentistry and implant-related cases, with implant mentoring available from the principal Dentist

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Dentist
• Suitable for experienced Dentists or local graduates; ADC graduates considered with 1+ year of Australian experience
• Wisdom teeth extraction experience highly regarded, though training and mentorship is offered
• Interest in implants or more complex dentistry desirable
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small private practice team
