Part-Time Customer Service & Sales Consultant - Arndale

About the role

Telstra is hiring a part-time Retail Customer Service & Sales Consultant for its Arndale store. You will give frontline support by helping customers choose products, activate services and troubleshoot basic issues, creating positive experiences through good communication and adherence to retail standards. The role shows foundational autonomy and supports customer satisfaction and store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers find the right products and services for their needs
• Stay up to date with the latest gadgets and services and offer informed advice
• Use consultative selling to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Work with the team to create a welcoming environment and help everyone reach store goals

Required profile

• Great communication skills and a solution-oriented approach
• Sales drive and motivation to exceed targets
• Eagerness to learn and a resilient, positive attitude
• Customer-facing experience is a plus but not required

• Part-time, hourly pay of $33.33 (junior rates apply under 20); penalty rates of 25% after 6pm weekdays, 25% on Saturdays, 100% on Sundays and 150% on public holidays
