OSHC Service Manager - Mango Hill

About the role

Helping Hands Mango Hill, part of Junior Adventures Group, is seeking a Service Manager to lead a large, established Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service. This is a full-time position working block shifts, with a total salary package of $100,700. The role combines leadership of a large team with acting as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a large team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and Educators.
• Drive exceptional educational programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Act as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor while ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework.
• Build strong partnerships with children, families, schools and the wider community.
• Manage service operations including budgets, rosters, enrolments, compliance and workforce planning.
• Prepare the service for Assessment and Rating and maintain high-quality standards.
• Create a positive team culture where people feel valued, supported and inspired to grow.

Required profile

• Experienced OSHC or Early Childhood leader ready to take ownership of a large, high-performing service.
• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2-Year Qualified Educator in Queensland under ACECQA.
• Previous leadership experience managing an OSHC or Early Childhood service.
• Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card and current police check.
• Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Assessment and Rating.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
