OSHC Director

About the role

The OSHC Director will lead the Out of School Hours Care service at Ngutu College, creating a safe, engaging and culturally responsive environment for children. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Woodville North, South Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, including program planning, staffing, supervision and compliance with regulations.
• Design and implement activities aligned with the My Time Our Place framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Maintain enrolment, attendance records, budgets and resource inventories.
• Communicate regularly with families, school staff and external partners.
• Mentor team members, support continuous improvement and ensure inclusive practices.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading an Out of School Hours Care, childcare or similar education and care service.
• Relevant qualification in Education, Early Childhood, School‑Aged Care or an ACECQA‑approved course.
• Strong knowledge of legislation, regulatory frameworks and quality standards for education and care.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and develop a diverse team.
• Current Working with Children clearance.
