OSHC Casual Educator - Oxenford State School

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is recruiting a casual OSHC educator for its Oxenford Helping Hands service at Oxenford State School. The role suits university students, parents or anyone who needs midday flexibility, offering hands-on experience with primary school children while working around your timetable and other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Work morning shifts (6:00am - 9:00am, Monday to Friday, Rise then Shine Program) and/or afternoon shifts (2:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, Stay and Play Program).
• Create engaging, positive experiences for primary school children.
• Available for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week.

Required profile

• Desirable but not mandatory: working towards or having completed a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator qualification in QLD under the ACECQA standard.
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko).
• Valid Australian work rights.
• Willingness to hold a national police check (paid by the employer) and a state working-with-children check.
• A genuine love for working with children, strong verbal and written communication, and a team player with leadership aspirations.

What we offer

• Pay of $33 - $47 per hour plus superannuation.
• Split-shift model with an extra $21 per day for split shifts.
• Paid training and pathways to Assistant Coordinator or Coordinator.
• $1,000 cash for each successful referral.
