OSHC Assistant Coordinator (Part‑time)

About the role

This permanent part‑time position (66 hours per fortnight, Monday‑Friday) supports the delivery of a safe, inclusive Out‑of‑School‑Hours Care (OSHC) service at Rosebery. Working closely with the Service Coordinator and Regional Operations Officer, you will help create an engaging environment where children thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Responsible Person for the OSHC service, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Manage children’s attendance, bookings and supervision to maintain a secure environment.
• Assist in designing and implementing age‑appropriate educational and recreational programs.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff and the wider community.
• Document and share children’s experiences and achievements with families.

Required profile

• Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently studying).
• Previous experience working in an OSHC or similar childcare setting.
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
• Completion of mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.
• Child protection training certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
