Optical Worker – Store Person

About the role
The Optical Worker – Store Person will accurately and efficiently assemble and dispatch all order types, receive and put away inbound stock, and perform other warehouse duties as required.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble orders using Voice Pick or a handheld RF device.
- Pack and scan orders for dispatch using JDA Pack Stations or Multi‑Scanner Stations.
- Unpack, sort and put away incoming goods with handheld RF devices.
- Replenish warehouse locations and conduct accurate cycle counts using RF technology.
- Operate materials handling equipment safely.
- Train new or casual staff on order assembly, scanning and RF handheld use.
- Contribute to team KPIs and follow all safety and work procedures.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar warehousing role.
- Ability to work unsupervised with a motivated, can‑do attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good literacy, numeracy and understanding of WHS requirements.
