Operations & Transport Officer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Operations & Transport Officer to support depot operations across Western Australia. Reporting to the Operations Manager – WA, you will coordinate transport, manage stock, ensure compliance and contribute to operational projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cylinder stock movements and inventory across depots, agents and distributors.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock, including container arrivals, labour planning and storage solutions.
• Conduct monthly stocktakes of cylinders and consumables to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Forecast, order and monitor consumable stock levels to support production.
• Track out‑of‑test cylinders at customer sites and arrange timely replacements.
• Support depot compliance activities, corrective action management (CARs) and safety initiatives.
• Assist with depot upgrade projects, contractor coordination and invoice processing.
• Generate operational reports and insights using Business Intelligence tools.

Required profile

• Previous experience in operations, transport, logistics, supply chain or inventory management.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities with capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel to regional locations.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Business Intelligence or reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
