Operations Trainer

About the role

The Operations Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating training programmes for Epiroc Kinetic Logging Services. Based in Kewdale, you will work closely with field teams across Western Australia and occasionally interstate to ensure safe and effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct classroom, hands‑on, virtual and on‑the‑job training sessions for field operators.
• Assess field staff competencies, identify gaps and develop targeted training plans.
• Maintain and update the learning management system, training records and operating manuals.
• Measure training effectiveness using assessment tools and report outcomes to management.
• Collaborate with supervisors, mentors and experienced staff to continuously improve training strategies.

Required profile

• Hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122).
• Demonstrated experience in training and assessing technical staff.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a background in mining, electronics or mechanical engineering.
• Excellent communication, presentation and coaching abilities.
• Willingness to travel to field sites in WA and interstate as required.
