Operations Specialist – Fixed Term (6 months)

About the role

The Operations Specialist will support the Superannuation division by managing accounts payable, cash flow forecasting and a range of financial transactions. This fixed‑term position works closely with internal stakeholders and external administrators to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate invoice payments.
• Maintain a payment register and track statements of work.
• Input financial data and assist in the preparation and upkeep of cash flow forecasts.
• Respond promptly to queries from the superannuation fund administrator and internal teams.
• Support fortnightly super contributions processes.
• Conduct periodic system access reviews to confirm appropriate authorisations.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for trustee directors.
• Liaise between ANZ Staff Super, the administrator and payroll to improve member data integrity.
• Manage member issues to achieve optimal outcomes for stakeholders.
• Prepare member‑related documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of banking, superannuation and/or payroll functions.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment when addressing problems.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service orientation.
• Proven capability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Effective priority‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
