Operations Engineer

About the role

The Operations Engineer will analyze large volumes of visual and other data from onshore and offshore infrastructure to identify and annotate mechanical, structural and hydraulic features for condition assessment and asset integrity management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze visual data to identify faults, defects and engineering features.
• Create photogrammetric 3D models and perform metrology analysis for precise measurements.
• Implement client and industry condition assessment standards and produce engineering reports.
• Perform basic quality assurance on own work and that of others.

Required profile

• High attention to detail with a collaborative, agile mindset.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• 1‑3 years of industry experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Material, Industrial, Petroleum or Civil engineering (Master’s preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Navisworks and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience using Autodesk Recap and handling point‑cloud data.
• Familiarity with Linux operating system.
• Experience in manual data annotation and large‑scale data analysis.
• Strong skills in MS Excel, Google Sheets and G‑Suite.
• Knowledge of photogrammetry, 3D modeling and metrology analysis.
• Understanding of API, NACE, ASCE and ASME inspection and coating standards.
