Operational Supervisor - Community and Oral Health

About the role

Metro North Health is seeking an experienced Operational Supervisor to join its Community and Oral Health team in Brisbane. This frontline support role helps develop and deliver frontline services, programs and outcomes, and suits a hands-on leader who enjoys coordinating daily operations, supporting staff, driving quality improvement and maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Accurate, effective and efficient rostering, using computerised rostering and HR management systems and liaising with payroll staff
• Monitor and supervise staff performance, including performance development plans, staff development, performance management, absenteeism and personnel issues, in line with workplace health and safety, employment equity, anti-discrimination and ethical behaviour, with support from the Operational Management team
• Carry out administrative and operational duties directly or to assist staff with their daily tasks

Required profile

• A motivated and experienced candidate able to perform the key accountabilities in line with Metro North Health's values
• Hands-on leadership style, with a focus on coordination, staff support and quality improvement
