Open Dialogue Practitioner

About the role

Goulburn Valley Health is seeking an experienced, values-driven Open Dialogue Practitioner to join its Infant, Child & Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing Services (ICYMHWS) team. The role works within the Goulburn Region Open Dialogue Connect (GRODC) initiative, a partnership of local youth services giving an integrated response to young people facing mental health and wellbeing challenges. It is a fixed-term full-time position (2-year contract) of 160 hours per fortnight, with two positions available; part-time is considered.

Key responsibilities

• Work with young people aged 12-25 years and the important people in their lives, including families, carers, supporters and wider social networks.
• Help create opportunities for shared understanding, collaborative decision-making and recovery-focused care through the Open Dialogue approach.
• Deliver innovative, network-based mental health support across the Goulburn region.

Required profile

• Qualifications are listed in the Position Description under Key Selection Criteria; applicants must attach a copy if qualifications are a requirement.
• Pre-employment screening may be required, including Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, police checks, visa and working rights in Australia, and immunisations as mandated by the Department of Health.
