Onsite Computer Technician – Melbourne

About the role

Nerdcore Computers Service Centre is seeking an Onsite Computer Technician to join its team in Melbourne. You will provide fast, reliable technical support and repair services to residential and business customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on PCs, Macs, laptops and servers.
• Install, configure and update operating systems and applications.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades and component replacements.
• Provide clear technical advice and recommendations to customers.
• Travel to customer locations using a reliable vehicle and maintain a clean driving record.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a similar computer technician role.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable car.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo a police check.

Required skills

• Technical support and computer maintenance expertise.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Experience with multiple operating systems.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (preferred).
