Office Based Survey Assistant

About the role

This is a great opportunity to kick‑start or grow your drafting career with a leading civil contractor, working alongside an experienced Survey Team at our Gold Coast office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide drafting support to the survey site team.
• Perform plan checks on new projects and updates during construction to ensure digital data aligns with IFC drawings.
• Prepare tidy Digital CAD data for use in 12d projects and survey software.
• Create project overview and as‑constructed layout drawings.
• Carry out quantity take‑offs and calculate earthwork volumes.

Required profile

• Basic AutoCAD experience.
• Completed or currently studying a drafting‑related qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
