Office Based Survey Assistant

About the role
This is a great opportunity to kick‑start or grow your drafting career with a leading civil contractor, working alongside an experienced Survey Team at our Gold Coast office.
Key responsibilities
- Provide drafting support to the survey site team.
- Perform plan checks on new projects and updates during construction to ensure digital data aligns with IFC drawings.
- Prepare tidy Digital CAD data for use in 12d projects and survey software.
- Create project overview and as‑constructed layout drawings.
- Carry out quantity take‑offs and calculate earthwork volumes.
Required profile
- Basic AutoCAD experience.
- Completed or currently studying a drafting‑related qualification.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
