Occupational Therapist – Sydney

About the role

Inspire Healthcare is a community-based organisation providing mobile services across Sydney and Melbourne to clients on the home care package, NDIS participants and private clients. It is looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join its Sydney team on a full-time, part-time or contractor basis, delivering therapeutic interventions for people with disability and the elderly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver OT services based on current evidence-based practice, within the resources and hours set out in each participant's individual plan.
• Collect client information and carry out assessments using appropriate assessment tools.
• Prescribe assistive technology and home modifications.
• Work with children.
• Manage and act on participant feedback so services stay responsive to consumer needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current First Aid certificate, Australian driver's licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
• Preferred but not essential: experience with children, NDIS and home modifications.
