Occupational Therapist

About the role

A clinic-based Occupational Therapist position in Hoppers Crossing, with occasional school or home sessions only if desired. The clinic is part of an Allied Health provider that also employs Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants, serving a broad range of presentations such as articulation, autism and literacy, with room to specialise.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver therapy to a mixed caseload, mostly paediatrics with some adults, including children with and without diagnoses so that early support is accessible
• Co-deliver sessions and collaborate with other clinicians on complex cases
• Take part in joint sessions, daily case discussions for complex clients and discipline-specific team meetings
• Build a manageable caseload of no more than 5 clients per day, with flexible build-up for graduates

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registered
• Unrestricted Australian working rights

What we offer

• Salary from $80,000 plus super (new graduates) to $125,000 for senior clinicians
• $1,000 annual professional development allowance plus 2+ PD days (some staff get up to 4)
• No KPIs, with emphasis on quality
• Weekly internal supervision, moving to fortnightly or monthly as preferred, plus access to external supervision
• Structured onboarding, mentorship from senior therapists and support from Allied Health Assistants
