Occupational Therapist – Full‑time

About the role

Join Ability Action Australia, a national therapy services provider, to support NDIS participants of all ages. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat and recommend environmental modifications that enhance daily living.

Key responsibilities

• Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical function and capacity to perform ADLs and IADLs.
• Interpret assessment findings to set treatment goals and develop intervention plans.
• Provide play‑based paediatric sessions to develop motor skills.
• Recommend assistive technology and home modifications to improve accessibility.
• Collaborate with speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and other professionals.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with paediatric clients.
• Strong desire to improve the lives of people with disability.
• Team‑player attitude and willingness to engage in multidisciplinary collaboration.
