Occupational Therapist - Community Team

About the role

Therapy Partners offers high-level occupational therapy services to the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Ipswich areas and is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join its community team. The employer works with each therapist to build a caseload of their choice, paediatric or adult, and to minimise time spent travelling. Full-time, part-time and casual positions are available.

Key responsibilities

• Initial assessments and face-to-face intervention
• Functional capacity assessments and SDA/SIL assessments
• Prescribing assistive technology
• Report writing
• Functional rehabilitation and upper limb therapy
• Working with clients to maximise their safety, capacity and independence
• Providing services in the client's home, school or kindergarten

Required profile

• AHPRA registration
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with experienced OTs and other allied health services
• Openness to new graduates as well as experienced therapists
