About the role
MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer with a current NV1 clearance to join its team at Thales in Point Wilson, Geelong. This is a gatehouse-based position focused on access control, visitor management and keeping the facility secure.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the site
- Carry out thorough ID checks and verify clearances
- Log all vehicle and personnel movements
- Patrol the site regularly to check for security risks, ensure doors and access points are secure, and respond to alarms or incidents
- Monitor CCTV footage
- Issue and collect visitor passes and access cards
Required profile
- Australian citizen with a current NV1 clearance
- Certificate II in security operations (or higher)
- Victorian Security License (Control Room endorsement is advantageous)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Driver's license
- Availability to work a 24/7 rotational roster
