Nurse Practitioner – Autonomic & Mast‑Cell Disorders

About the role

biio.biio is opening its first east‑coast clinic in Collingwood, Melbourne, dedicated to patients with POTS, dysautonomia, MCAS and related chronic conditions. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team and provide expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment for these complex presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations for patients with autonomic and mast‑cell disorders.
• Interpret cardiac, autonomic and laboratory investigations and integrate them into care plans.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners, medical consultants and allied health professionals to develop multidisciplinary treatment pathways.
• Document assessments, diagnoses, treatment decisions and referrals within the biio.graphy system.
• Participate in regular case reviews, peer supervision and cross‑disciplinary professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with confidence managing autonomic and mast‑cell presentations.
• Experience or strong interest in cardiac, autonomic or integrative health.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a low‑ego, high‑EQ team environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and evidence‑based practice.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and diagnostic skills for POTS, dysautonomia and MCAS.
• Interpretation of cardiac and autonomic investigations.
• Use of electronic health record systems for structured data capture.
