Non-Destructive Testing Technician

About the role

Bureau Veritas, a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification Services, is looking for an experienced NDT technician to carry out client testing and inspection requirements in Singleton, NSW. The role suits someone with extensive experience in a similar inspection role on large-scale industrial, mining or oil and gas sites, using magnetic particle, dye penetrant, ultrasonic or radiographic methods and others.

The position is based in Singleton, but candidates based in Perth, Melbourne, Newcastle or Mackay are also considered.

Required profile

• AINDT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT and UT (welds)
• At least 2 years' experience conducting non-destructive testing on fixed or mobile plant in the oil and gas or mining industries
• Coal mining experience highly regarded
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding and commitment to HSE
• Advanced attention to detail and organisational skills
• Unrestricted Australian work rights
