Night Manager (Part‑time)

About the role

AccorHotel is seeking an experienced Night Manager to lead overnight operations at the Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort on a part‑time basis. You will be the senior leader on shift, ensuring smooth hotel functioning while delivering exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all overnight hotel operations, maintaining service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Lead and support the night team, fostering a professional and positive work environment.
• Manage guest enquiries, feedback and escalations with confidence.
• Complete the night audit, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and reporting.
• Conduct regular property checks to uphold safety, security and operational standards.
• Respond to emergencies and operational challenges promptly.
• Prepare accurate reports and handover documentation for the morning leadership team.

Required profile

• Previous experience as Night Manager, Assistant Night Manager or senior Front Office leader.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to the resort for overnight shifts.
• Strong numerical and analytical capability with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and confidence to make independent decisions.
• Calm, solutions‑focused approach in high‑pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera Cloud or similar hotel management systems.
